Agile Coaching Community of Practice presents: Introduction to Agile Coaching - The Coaching Niche Taking Over the Business World

Many leaders today want to build organizations that are more creative, collaborative, & competitive... more "Agile." But it's hard to know where to begin, and what pitfalls to avoid. Thus we have the Agile Coach,  a hot career trend in recent years, to help teams & organizations.

Unfortunately, understanding the role is just as hard as the agile thing itself. What do Agile Coaches even do? How is this different from professional or executive coaching? What skills are required? How do we know they're actually helping? This illuminating presentation will answer these questions and more. Come hear how any aspiring or practicing coach can expand their practice into the growing trends of Agile Coaching and Agile Transformation.

This session will be facilitated by Damon Poole, ACC. Damon has coached and trained thousands of people at companies such as EMC, Capital One, Oanda, Ford, and Fidelity in Agile ways of working. As a coach of coaches, he has led the growth of Agile Delivery teams ranging from small teams to large programs of hundreds of Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches. He is the co-founder of Facilititivy, an ACSTH accredited academy offering insights & skill development for Agile Coaches of all stages. In addition to his coaching credentials from ICAgile, IAC, and ICF, he is the co-author of the book Professional Coaching for Agilists: Accelerating Agile Adoption.
