Contribute
Contribute to our Metro DC Coaching Community
Sharing your unique talents, perspectives, and knowledge enables our chapter to flourish and increases your platform and purpose!
ICF Metro DC depends on the volunteer contributions of our membership to remain one of the most chapters with a robust and relevant offering of resources and events. How will you enrich this community?
Lead a
Coaches Coffee
group: ICF Metro DC Coaches Coffee groups are where members gather to get to know one another, share challenges and opportunities, and learn together in informal settings. While we already have a robust slate of groups, with a chapter of 1,600+ members, there is always room for more! Groups can be focused around a geographic location (there is a particular hunger for more groups that meet in-person right now) or a theme/specific purpose. They can occur monthly or quarterly, and based on the tenure of our group leaders, we're confident they would attest that the work is worthwhile! Reach out to ICF Board member and Director of Coaches Coffees, Nicoletta Pichardo, at hello@nicoletta.coach to discuss your idea for a group.
Serve as a
Pro Bono Coach
:
Pro bono coaching offers multiple benefits to coaches who volunteer their time, and to non-profit professionals receiving coaching. The ICF Metro DC Pro Bono Coaching Committee provides an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the greater good and to promote the value of the coaching profession, while allowing chapter members to earn hours toward ICF credentials -- all while enabling local non-profit leaders to better serve our community. Submit your coaching bio to admin@icfmetrodc.org to get started.
Join a Committee
: Committees are where most of the ongoing volunteer work that sustains our chapter happens. Each committee is led by a Board member, and composed of several additional volunteers who ideate together and bring their visions to life! Click on any link below to learn more about the work of our committees, and to determine where you can make a valuable contribution.

Work toward membership on our
Board of Directors
: Chapter members in good standing who have proven their commitment through previous volunteer experience are invited to express their interest in serving on our Board of Directors. If you have a vision of how to take our chapter into the future, love to collaborate, and are a true champion of the profession of coaching, this may be the role for you!
