Learning
Learn and Grow with ICF Metro DC
Continuous learning is essential for coaches. We offer it in abundance at ICF Metro DC!
Peruse the learning and professional development opportunities offered by our chapter below, and sign up to participate! With your annual ICF Metro DC membership dues, nearly all offerings are available to you free of charge, and most provide at least 1 Continuing Coaching Education Unit. Guests are nearly always welcome for a modest fee, so spread the word and invite others who may benefit as well.
Learning & Development Sessions
: At least twice a month, except in August when we take a recess, ICF Metro DC presents virtual sessions intended to support your learning and development as a coach. These sessions typically last 1.5 hours and offer 1.5 CCEUs to use toward the renewal of your credential. Topics vary widely, with at least two offerings in each of the following learning strands each year: AI and Coaching; Business Development; Coaching Ethics; Personal/Professional Development; Supervision/Mentor Coaching; Team Coaching; and Wellness: Trauma-Informed, Somatic, Emotional Intelligence, etc. Find and register for these sessions at our
Events Calendar
. (Be sure you're logged into the website before registering to access your free member registration!)
Coaching Book Club
: Our Coaching Book Club brings members together every other month to discuss a coaching-related book. Register and read, then come together for discussion and group learning! Find the next occurrence on our
