Our goal for the ICF Metro DC Chapter is to have a diverse and inclusive career community. The profession of coaching is always evolving and having a forum in which to explore various perspectives and new data is a recognized best practice.
We are always looking for creative, relevant, educational, and diverse speakers and topics, both evidence-based and cutting edge.
AREAS OF INTEREST
We welcome relevant and educational presentations in a wide variety of areas, including:
- ICF Code of Ethics, ICF Core Competencies and ICF Team Coaching Competencies
- Coaching tools and skills
- Business development and management
- Professional growth and development

It’s important that our presenters and programs uphold the ethical standards of ICF and align with the Core and Team Competencies, so please review the following:
SPEAKER GUIDELINES
For consideration as a speaker for ICF Metro DC Chapter Events, please ensure your presentation includes and addresses the following:
- High quality content for coach practitioners – fresh and unique topics and content (or new takes on existing topics) with demonstrated knowledge of the topic
- Content aligned with the ICF Core Values, ICF Code of Ethics, ICF Core Competencies, and ICF Team Coaching Competencies
- Identification and demonstration of 2-3 targeted learning objectives
- Tangible takeaways for practical application in members coaching practices – theory, tools and techniques
- Lively and engaging presentation – interactive workshop format and audience participation
- No solicitation or pitches for any kind of product or service
- Ownership of presenter materials including intellectual property rights, copyrights and trademarks
