LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

 

To keep pace with industry expectations and emerging standards, continual learning is crucial. The ICF Metro DC Chapter seeks to expand member and non-member coaches’ learning through professional and personal development opportunities.

Benefits of Learning and Development

Exposure to new content contributes to your overall knowledge base and benefits your clients. Using various formats (including webinars, e-programs, and tele-programs), we provide a variety of learning and development programs.

Benefits of these programs include:

● Greater depth of knowledge for our coaching members
● Opportunities for continuing coach education units (CCEUs)
● Creating a strong area network for coaches to build community and help each other

The Committee needs strategic thinkers who have great ideas and like to plan and/or lead events. Volunteers coordinate partnerships with professional organizations, learning organizations, ICF chapters, and others to present speakers, programs, and events that support professional development.
