Biography
Sheronda Dorsey is a retired Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) senior executive with over 35 years of distinguished service. She was known for her strategic visionary leadership, ability to drive enterprise-wide change, and commitment to building inclusive, high-performing teams. During her final years at the CIA, she served as both the Director and Deputy Director of Talent and the Director of Recruitment. Under her leadership, the CIA implemented innovative technologies, drove efficiencies and standardization in business and human capital operations, and cultivated a more inclusive and supportive work environment. Her work shaped the Agency's future workforce and positioned it to respond to evolving mission needs with agility and innovation.
Since retiring, Sheronda serves as an executive, leadership, and career coach with Talent Acquisition Strategies, LLC and at the University of Mary Washington, supporting professionals and university students in preparing for and navigating their career journey. Sheronda also serves on the Board of Directors for the National Society of High School Scholars and The Tinch Group.
Sheronda holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Mary Washington and a bachelor's degree in government from the University of Virginia. She is certified as an executive leadership and career coach through the International Coaching Federation, and continues to speak on the topics of leadership, workforce engagement, inclusion, and self-development in various forums.
