Emily Giacomini engages with motivated leaders looking to shift to a position that makes full use of their strengths or expand their impact in their current role. Her company Volare Insights, LLC offers career and leadership coaching to mid-career women professionals eager to maximize their contributions.
Career Coaching: Emily partners with clients in various stages of exploring a career transition. If you’re unsure of your direction, together we’ll customize sessions for what is most relevant, using formal and informal assessments to uncover your strengths, values and interests to explore options and discern a direction that’s an inspiring fit for you.

Leadership Coaching: Emily supports leaders seeking to deepen their influence and drive results whether they’re embarking on a new leadership role or wanting to step up their game in self-leadership, communication, conflict resolution, time management, prioritization, strategic thinking or another area showing up as an opportunity in their role.
If you’re sensing there’s something more for you to do or be in life and are looking to make a bigger impact with the ideas, causes and people you care about, this is your chance to explore where you are and where you want to go in leading yourself or a team. Emily spent nearly five years at Penn State’s Smeal College of Business and another four at University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business, coaching ambitious MBA students. Early in her career, she taught English in Japan for two years on the JET Program and spent five years in Purchasing at Procter & Gamble. Over the last 17 years, Emily has focused on coaching and training in Non-Profit, Federal government and Higher Education. She has studied, lived and worked abroad in the Middle East, Asia and Europe and brings a unique cross-cultural perspective as she partners with clients.
Emily earned her BA in French from Davidson College, an MBA from Arizona State and a Master of International Management from Thunderbird. She is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and earned a Certified Master of Career Services (CMCS) certification with the National Career Development Association (NCDA.)
