MARLO THOMAS WATSON, CDE®, PCC, CCE
Founder, President and Chief Engagement Officer
Marlo Thomas Watson brings more than 20 years of experience in executive coaching, organizational development, leadership and training, consulting services, community relations and public affairs, change management, and diversity and inclusion. She is known for helping leaders strengthen their effectiveness, navigate complex workplace challenges, improve communication, and build stronger, more productive teams and organizations.
As an executive coach, Marlo supports business leaders, senior executives, technical leaders, emerging leaders, and high potential professionals. Her coaching approach focuses on transformative growth, helping clients build stronger self awareness, recognize and leverage their strengths, manage conflict, navigate change, and develop practical strategies for leadership success.
Marlo has worked with clients across Fortune 500 companies, government organizations, nonprofit organizations, international associations, local and county governments, the utility industry, and faith based organizations. Her experience includes supporting leaders through difficult conversations, communication challenges, team development, leadership transitions, morale concerns, and complex organizational issues.
Her coaching philosophy centers on helping leaders achieve their goals and highest potential through greater self awareness, intentional development, and the effective use of their talents and expertise. Marlo partners with clients to identify grounded paths forward while supporting stronger leadership, communication, and workplace performance.
Marlo’s areas of specialization include Executive Coaching, Leadership Development, Leading Change, Multicultural Teams, and Leading and Managing Across Generations. She has coached leaders at multiple levels, including Vice Presidents, government senior managers, directors, high potential executives, and other professionals transitioning into expanded leadership responsibilities.
Marlo earned a Master of Science in Public Administration from Central Michigan University and a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School of Management. Her professional development also includes training through the Coach Diversity Institute, Coach Training Institute, and Veritas Culture.
Her credentials and assessment experience include Certified Diversity Executive® (CDE), Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Certified Organizational Culture, Certified DEIB Facilitator, DiSC, True Colors, and The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team.
