Biography
Dr. Faye E. Coleman, Founder and CEO of FEC Coaching Enterprises, LLC, is a trusted business advisor and certified executive coach with over three decades of experience in executive and transition coaching, leadership development, diversity and inclusion training, and organizational change management. An internationally recognized trainer and thought leader, Faye has a solid track record of managing large-scale leadership training, technical assistance and capacity development projects. A serial entrepreneur, Faye started her first, award-winning company, Westover Consultants, Inc. (WCI) in the mid-1980s, and led it to become a multimillion- dollar enterprise, and one of the most highly regarded professional services firms of its size in the Washington DC metropolitan area. While at WCI, Faye worked with a variety of private and public-sector agencies throughout the United States, Africa, the Caribbean and Europe, designing client-specific, culturally relevant initiatives and training programs that met the complex and diverse needs of a rapidly changing marketplace.
After selling WCI in 2015, Faye formed her current coaching and organizational consulting practice, FEC Coaching Enterprises LLC. Her current clients benefit from her considerable business savvy, honed over her 30+ years as a successful business executive. She is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards and is also a frequent speaker at domestic and global conferences, seminars and symposiums. Moreover, Faye serves on numerous professional and community boards, commissions, and civic organizations, including Co-Chair of the Enterprising Women Foundation, and past Chair of the board of directors of Leadership Greater Washington, Inc. Listed in “Who’s Who of American Women”, Faye holds a B.S. degree in Sociology from Simmons College, a M.Ed. from the University of Massachusetts, and a Ph.D. in Education/Human Development from the University of Maryland. She is a certified professional coach (CPC), and an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP).
