Biography

Dr. Carrie Register-Haley is based in Alexandria, Virginia. A Certified Professional Coach through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation, Carrie specializes in Executive and Leadership Development Coaching with a distinct mission: to re-energize, re-empower, and reignite passion and purpose in her clients. She partners with emerging and senior leaders alike to rediscover the best versions of themselves—authentically, strategically, and holistically.


With over 39 years of combined military, federal government, and private coaching experience, Dr. Haley brings unmatched insight into human capital, organizational health, development, training, and strategic leadership. She is a retired Chief Warrant Officer Three, having served 21 years of active duty in the U.S. Army, and retired from the federal government.


She holds a PhD in General Psychology from Capella University, a Master’s in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, and a BS in Social Psychology. Her extensive certifications include the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Emotional Intelligence (EQ-i), Five Languages of Appreciation in the Workplace, and several leadership and DEIA programs from Cornell University. She is a proud graduate of the Federal Executive Institute and the Women’s Studies Graduate Certificate Program at Howard University. Currently an adjunct with Georgetown University, Institute of Transformational Leadership, Washington, DC.


Dr. Haley is the author of The Best Investment is Within One’s Self (2nd Ed.) and a respected keynote speaker and workshop facilitator. She has served in volunteer, advisory, and leadership roles across several community organizations, including the National Coalition of 100 Black Women (Northern Virginia Chapter), Fairfax County Health Department, Alfred Street Baptist Church’s Heart to Serve Ministry, and the Buffy Foundation.
