Coaching Clients Back to Emotional Regulation
Presented by Shiri Ben-Arzi
Learning & Development Strands: Professional Development
Program Description
As the world becomes more chaotic, many people become more emotionally dysregulated.
Emotional dysregulation is the difficulty in managing our emotions and how we respond to them. Emotional regulation, on the other hand, is the ability to understand and manage our emotions in healthy and productive ways.
If you are wondering whether this is something coaches should avoid, this webinar is for you!
Emotions are integral to the human experience. They influence how we experience our inner and external reality, affect our state of mind, and change our behavior.
Emotions show up in the coaching space whether we invite them in or not, which means we, as coaches, need to know how to help our clients work with them in an empowering way. In this webinar, you will learn new perspectives on emotions and emotional states, explore the dark side of VUCA, get acquainted with the concept of BANI states, and learn new coaching skills to help clients (and yourself) shift back to emotional regulation and enhance emotional agility.
Learning Objectives
In this session, you will learn:
-The five principles of shifting back into emotional regulation.
-The BANI acronym.
-The shift from ‘CRASH state’ to ‘COACH state.
