April Session: The Journey Toward MCC
The Journey Toward MCC
What does it really mean to grow as a coach over time?
For many coaches, the credentialing path can feel both exciting and anxiety-inducing. The frameworks offer clarity and legitimacy, and they can also invite comparison, pressure, and a sense that we are meant to be “getting somewhere,” rather than settling more fully into who we already are as practitioners.
This conversation with MCC coach Friderike Butler, offers a spacious, reflective exploration of the journey toward MCC, grounded in lived experience rather than achievement chasing. We will explore the credentialing landscape of the International Coaching Federation, from Level 1 and ACC through PCC and into MCC, with attention on development rather than destination.
Through guided reflection and simple experiential practice, participants will explore both the gift and the shadow of competence frameworks, and feel the difference between coaching from technique and coaching from embodied presence.
This session welcomes coaches at all stages. No prior knowledge is assumed, and no particular outcome is expected.
Come curious. Come as you are. This is a conversation, not a checkpoint.
