  • AI Coaches? Unpacking Human/AI Coaching for Coaches & the Coaching Profession
    Presented by Cliff Kayser, PCC

    Learning strand: AI & Coaching

    Program Description:

How will the growing availability of AI-driven Coaches revolutionize and upend the coaching profession? As a Human Coach, how will you survive and thrive in a world in which the availability of AI Coaches provides 24/7 availability, personalized feedback, and tailored data-driven resources analysis and options for moving forward in real-time?

In this interactive session, Human Coach participants will unpack some critical considerations present now and, in the future, using the Polarity Approach and Polarity Map® to unpack and design strategies to leverage the challenges, and opportunities. There’s good news and bad news about this session – and let’s get the bad news out of way first.

The BAD NEWS: This session won’t alleviate the tension for us Human Coaches who might be feeling threatened by the prospects of the reality of AI Coaches entering the Human coaching profession space and any hope they won’t ever have to confront the issue, because the issue isn’t going away now or in the future. Now on to the GOOD NEWS!

The session will provide a safe space for Human Coach participants (no AI Coaches will be in attendance!) to confront values and fears that may be present for them in the tension -- head-on.  By confronting brutal facts and reality/ies, participants can explore what an embrace for challenges looks like and perhaps even create some excitement about the opportunities and possibilities to best support client growth and development. At least, participants will share an experience together that applies a powerful Human Coaching tool and process -- the Polarity Map® and Polarity Approach (the 5-Steps of “S.M.A.L.L.” Seeing, Mapping, Assessing, Learning, and Leveraging) for this real-time and real-world issue.  Outcomes include seeing a more complete view of the realities and possibilities for client growth and development outside an “Either/Or” mindset, leveraging our Human – intelligence and being.

    Learning Objectives:

    • learn/apply the Polarity Approach (the 5-step "S.M.A.L.L." Process: Seeing, Mapping, Assessing, Learning, and Leveraging) for the polarity of: AI Coach and Human Coach
    • explore Stability and Change in the context of designing and developing of leveraging strategies
