Credentialing Support Group
ICF Metro DC members who are currently ACC or non-credentialed coaches are invited to the Credentialing Support Group!
This group is designed specifically for chapter members working toward ACC or PCC credentialing. Occurring monthly, it is a place to take next steps in the path toward your new credential, alongside fellow coaches also seeking credentialing.
Meetings will include:
- A kick-off plenary session led by a senior, at least PCC-credentialed chapter member who is well-versed in the credentialing process, with opportunities to ask questions of/seek clarification from the mentor/leader, share status updates, and/or make requests for barter/study partners/etc.;
- Breakout rooms for practice and/or group discussion on identified topics of interest;
- Large group wrap-up for sharing discoveries and learnings, and connecting for future study/accountability/etc.
Each session will have a topic that will rotate through three primary focus areas of the certification process. The next three session are:
1) Coach Support - Mentor and/or Peer Connections (June),
2) Tips on Effective Session Recordings with Transcripts (July); and
3) Test Preparation (August).
These are not training sessions but discussion and support sessions. Come prepared to share tips and ideas, make requests for practices, and generally get acquainted with fellow travelers on the (sometimes confusing/always rewarding) journey to attaining your ICF credential.
