  • Participants will learn from experienced coaches what nature can bring to the coaching relationship
  • Participants will hear about different techniques for coaching outdoors and in nature and about different groups or population segments that coaches have worked with outdoor
  • Panelists will share trends related to activities in nature, such as outdoor coaching, therapy and other activities.

Bio for each presenter

 

Jennifer Wills, ACC, JD, MNR, founded J. Wills Coaching to coach mission- and purpose-driven clients to make greater impacts in their personal and professional lives. Jennifer works with individuals and teams, incorporating systems thinking, a love of nature, a positive outlook, and boundless energy in her coaching. Growing up in Kentucky, Jennifer played in the woods and creeks and fostered a deep love of outdoor spaces. Now she coaches clients outdoors using a process she developed called Nature RoamingTM. Prior to J. Wills Coaching, Jennifer’s career path includes nearly two decades at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, faculty on Environmental Law and Sustainability at Virginia Tech, and President of the Board of a non-profit outdoor youth and conservation non-profit. Jennifer walks the walk -- often outdoors! She has aligned her career and her personal life to her personal mission and helps her clients do the same. Jennifer has a J.D. from the University of Kentucky, a Master’s degree in global sustainability from Virginia Tech, and a Bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Louisville.   

  

 

Christiane Frischmuth, MA, PCC, GPCC, Founder of Global Frischmuth Consulting, LLC has over 30 years of experience coaching individuals and teams at every organizational level across sectors and industries. She has worked and lived all over the globe. She has deep experience in international organizations, having been part of and led operational teams. She is also integrating adult development and life cycle concepts, based on her wilderness guiding and vision questing experience, which supports the clients in moving through transitions and life and work challenges.  Partnering with nature brings deep intuition, embodied experiences, sacred space and time and artistry to the coaching experience. Christiane has been solo hiking for many years and brings her outdoor practice to her coaching. She is the founder of “Your True Nature Coaching” and Supervision, which is accredited by the ICF. 

 

Melissa Kelly-Mc Cabe, MS, GPCC, MCC

As a master coach, Melissa coaches CEOs and executives as they accelerate attaining their business goals, imprint their own style on their company, and bring fun and purpose into their lives. Using Physical process, art/creativity and especially nature, clients deepen their self-understanding and create action forward.  As a Certified Mentor Coach, Melissa focuses her work with seasoned coaches to go deeper with their clients to bring their own authenticity and presence to the coaching session. She is currently in private practice and the Director of Training for the Coaching Certificate Program at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland.

 

Russ Watts, ML, PCC, NBC-HWC, IF.

Russ is an executive coach, professor of entrepreneurship and coaching both in Italy and the US, an integral facilitator, and consultant who focuses on the relationships between self, the other and nature. He has been leading individuals into nature for over 35 years where his passion for transformation, co-creation and mindfulness thrives. Some of his other passions include trail running, rock climbing, photography and cooking.  His partnership in “Your True Nature Coaching” has allowed him to continue to help people tap deep seated knowledge and partnership with nature to find their higher purpose and potential.
