When you complete your coach training and are ready to make your big positive difference in the world, it is often disconcerting to discover there isn’t a line of people waiting to be coached by you. If you have not been an entrepreneur before, it can seem like a massive effort if you even know where to start. Even if you have owned your own business, marketing for coaching is different from other professions.
Kathy Harman has been training coaches for 8 years, and has developed a robust course for building your coaching business. She has identified 3 crucial steps to start the journey to creating a thriving coach practice. In this workshop, she will guide the participants through identifying their coaching purpose, the essence of their passion for coaching, and get them started to attract the people they most want to coach. Whether they are internal coaches, entrepreneurs or external coaches, participants will leave with a clearer idea of their coaching purpose, a renewed sense of passion and self-knowledge necessary to start creating powerful marketing.

Kathy Harman, MCC, CCM, is a techie-turned-coach who trains people to coach teams and individuals to extraordinary success. As Co-Director of Education for the ICF ACTP Radiance Partners, LLC, she instills in her students the same spirit and passion for coaching that she enjoys, preparing them to thrive in their new profession. Kathy has blended her coaching knowledge with her 30+ years of experience in IT to develop the PRISM Team Coaching Approach, which she has trained globally. She is the author of PRISM Teams: Coaching Prolific, Radically Innovative Self-Managed Teams, and The ABCs of Living Well. To support the profession, Kathy served as 2013 and 2014 President of ICF Virginia and 2017-2018 President of ACTO. Kathy is also a Certified Coach Mentor, supporting coaches who are working towards their next ICF Credential.
