Join us, July 27, at our next chapter meeting (webinar) to learn new communications skills to help you build your coaching practice. ICF Metro DC has retained a PR Firm, GreenSmith PR, to position our chapter for success. So far, our relationship has helped generate positive publicity for ICF member coaches on NBC-TV, in Federal Times and on local community blogs like Patch! Free for members

You will learn more about:

1.     ICF Metro DC Messages – discuss how we are positioning as a group for market penetration. Attendees will be provided a messaging grid and learn bridging techniques to help our chapter and their own consulting or corporate positions with an “elevator pitch!”

2.     Writing Contributed Columns – Learn how to write bylined articles for placement in Washington, DC area leading business and professional journals. ICF Metro DC has developed a news bureau approach to writing/submitting 750-word columns about subjects like: Team-building, Civility in the Workplace, the Importance of Communications and Why Federal Leadership is Different.

3.     Social Media – Learn more about our Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn Campaigns. Find-out how you can contribute to the ICF Metro DC’s social presence. Receive training on how to leverage Twitter feeds for business leads. Post ICF columns on your LinkedIn!

4. Website Landing Page – Our new landing page for external audiences has now been viewed by over 400 people who spend an average of 3-4 minutes learning about an overview of ICF certification and coach testimonials. Twenty percent are then looking for coaches – or 80 searches of our Find a Coach feature on the ICF Metro site.

a.      Update Your Profile – to take advantage of this free coach finder service

b.     Brainstorm New Ideas – on extranets and how our Chapter can refresh teasers!
