Denise JacksonThe Defense Acquisition University (DAU) has received this year’s International Coach Federation (ICF) Prism Award for the Washington, D.C.-area, recognizing excellence and achievement in organizational coaching. The award was presented by the ICF Metro DC Chapter at the 10th anniversary Capital Coaches Conference, held June 6 at George Mason University.

DAU’s coaching initiative is led by the Director of Executive Coaching, Richard Hansen, ACC, who said, “Coaching offers our major defense acquisition program managers and key leaders with a powerful one-on-one or team-assist to expand their capacities to impact and make a difference with their programs, their people, and with themselves. Here at DAU, our cadre of coaches creates an environment where people can flourish, achieve and make things happen.”

Honorable Mentions for this year's ICF Metro DC Prism Award went to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (nominating coach, Sharon Gazda, PCC, of Edizen) and Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life (nominating coach, Rae Ringel, PCC, of The Ringel Group).
